Physical Disabilities
The common symptom in individuals with a physical disability is limited movement. However, a physical disability affects the entire personality of the individual. Motor skills are interconnected with perception, mental processes, and emotions. A person is said to have a physical disability when they have limited motor skills as a result of damage to the motor apparatus, or some other organic impairment. Motor skills may be impaired on a scale from mild impairment to severe impairment. Children with physical disabilities thus represent a heterogeneous group with various needs for support in education and self-care.
