EMOTIONAL DIFFICULTIES

Emotional disorders in childhood are due to unsolvable internal conflicts. These conflicts arise from the child’s inability to satisfy their needs. Often such children have somatic and vegetative disturbances such as sleep disorders, headaches, increased sensitivity and vulnerability, they may become erratic, have negative moods and experiences.

Feelings of tension and depression, constant anxiety and fear may cause children to have problems communicating with peers or adults. In other words, the child needs to feel the adult is thinking about them or sense that someone else cares for them out of love, compassion, curiosity and selflessness.

Children with emotional difficulties (but in principle every child) need to feel that someone cares about them for unselfish reasons (love, compassion, interest).
